As Border Police and Israel Police officers were leaving the Shuafat neighborhood in Jerusalem, a car began to speed up in the officers' direction in an apparent attempt to hit them.
After warning procedures that the driver ignored, the officers fired at him and killed him. Another person in the car was seriously wounded.
None of the security forces suffered injuries.
