70% of the French Terrified of Being Killed in ISIS Attack

The British Express reports that an opinion poll conducted by the Red Cross carried out by the market research institute, Ifop, shows that 70% of all French people live with the constant fear of a looming attack. They strongly believe they could become the next victim of terrorism.
The poll was performed close to the one-year anniversary of the November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks on Paris, where a highly-trained ISIS commando stormed through the La République neighborhood, leaving 130 dead, hundreds injured, and millions mentally scarred. Since then, further terrorist attacks around the country have terrified the populace.
The terror threat to France is now the citizens’s chief concern. In 2010, only 38 percent were worried that a massive terrorist attack would hit France.
Despite being “extremely” worried about the extremist threat, only around one third – 35 percent – said they would know what to do in the event of a terror or bomb attack.
