Does Russia Indeed Have Sensitive Info on Trump?

There’s a storm in the U.S. about CNN’s scoop that Russia has sensitive information about Trump. The network publicized that both Obama and Trump were briefed last week about classified documents saying that Russian agents have gathered sensitive, personal and financial information about Trump. The claims were on 2 pages that were added to the U.S. intelligence report that Russia tampered with the U.S. presidential elections.

The report claims that ‘Trump’s poor conduct over the years allowed Russia to amass enough embarrassing information about the republican nominee that can be used when they see fit’.

This report claims the Moscow hotel where Trump stayed was chock full of cameras and microphones everywhere so that the FSB the Russian intelligence agency could record what they liked.

Intelligence chief James Clapper said he spoke with Trump about the leak of the report and expressed deep shock that it was leaked. According to Clapper he is on the same page as Trump that we’re talking about ‘something damaging to our national security’.

Trump twitted that it’s “FAKE NEWS – A TOTAL POLITICAL WITCH HUNT!!” Trump also added “Intelligence agencies should never have allowed this fake news to “leak” into the public. One last shot at me. Are we living in Nazi Germany? Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA – NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!”

Trump also attacked CNN in his tweets: “We had a great News Conference at Trump Tower today. A couple of FAKE NEWS organizations were there but the people truly get what's going on. CNN is in a total meltdown with their FAKE NEWS because their ratings are tanking since election and their credibility will soon be gone!”

Trump also complained that agencies don’t treat him fairly but he doesn’t whine about it he gets even and he tweeted: “Russia just said the unverified report paid for by political opponents is “A COMPLETE AND TOTAL FABRICATION, UTTER NONSENSE.” Very unfair!”

Russia also sent its denials of the claims. Dimitry Paskov, spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin contradicted the claims. He said the words of Trumps tweet “a complete fabrication and utter nonsense”. Paskov , one of Putin’s closest aides said “the Kremlin is not involved in gathering embarrassing information” and he concurs that the purpose of this publicity is to harm Russia- U.S. relations.
