Netanyahu Pays Condolence Visit to the Admor of Belz

On Sunday, Prime Minister Netanyahu paid a condolence visit to the Admor of Belz in Jerusalem on the loss of the Admor’s mother the Rabbanit wife of the Admor of Bilgrey the father of the Admor of Belz. The conversed for 20 minutes. Netanyahu thanked the Admor for the support of MK Rabbi Yisrael Eichler he receives in the Knesset. Rabbi Eichler is the Admor’s emissary. The Admor responded, “I’ve told Rabbi Eichler that for many years we haven’t had a prime minister that knew how to stand up against the world, you have to know it is all from heaven.”

Rabbi Eichler who was present, also used the opportunity to mention the Hidabrut Network, since it’s known to be very dear to the Rebbe.
The Rebbe also asked about the dangerous threat of Iran and if Netanyahu is doing everything in his power about it. Netanyahu gave him a detailed answer and mentioned that he saw it as a goal to go to congress and warn the world about the threat of Iran that is global and not just limited to Israel. He mentioned that he was going to speak to President Trump that night about that danger (which he did).

The Prime Minister also told the Rebbe that he listens to the weekly Torah portion every week with his wife and family and mentioned that his father-in-law, Professor Shmuel Ben-Artzi wrote a book about Novhardok. He asked the Rebbe if he read it and the Rebbe responded; I read the parts I needed to read”. Afterwards, Netanyahu asked the Rebbe to bless his wife Sarah Netanyahu and the Rebbe did. The Rebbe also specially blessed Netanyahu to be successful leading the country and that there should be no split among Am Yisrael.
