President Donald Trump and his entourage visited Yad Vashem accompanied by Prime Minister Netanyahu, Rabbi Israel Meir Lau and Yad Vashem Head, Avner Shelo.
Donald trump laid a wreath in the Yizkor Memorial Room and then signed his name in the Yad Vashem guestbook. He then opened his speech saying: “We are here today in Yad Vashem to honor the memory of the 6 million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust.”
“The Holocaust was the cruelest crime ever perpetrated against G-d and against His children. No words can describe the intensity of the horror. Israel is the living testimony to the unbreakable spirit of the entire Jewish Nation,” Trump said.
Trump went to the Israel museum for his final presentation before going back to Ben Gurion Airport form where they leave at 3:40 pm.
