In an April 30, 2015 email released Monday by WikiLeaks, Politico’s chief political correspondent Glenn Thrush asked John Podesta to approve his writing pre-publication. Thrush begged Podesta not to tell anyone he had shared the copy and wasn’t shy to refer to himself as “a hack” in the email exchange.
“No worries Because I have become a hack I will send u the whole section that pertains to u,” Thrush wrote to Podesta. “Please don’t share or tell anyone I did this Tell me if I —- up anything.”
This is just one story about many others that has come out due to Wikileaks’ exposes, showing how Leftist and Soros-funded groups bought favorable coverage of the Iran deal and the Muslim migrant influx, and also bought hit pieces on foes of jihad terror. Today, the mainstream media is a propaganda organ for the Left and the Democratic Party, rather than an impartial news vendor.
Jihad Watch explains that this is why no mainstream media outlet ever covers foes of jihad terror favorably or gives them a fair hearing. No MSM ever notes the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ links to Hamas, or the Southern Poverty Law Center’s vicious bias and hard-left agenda, but treats both as if they were objective, respected and respectable sources of information. Famous “journalists” are paid for shills for the leftist political perspective. And under the present administration, even US law enforcement has jumped on the propaganda bandwagon.
This week a Muslim Iraqi “refugee” living in Houston who moved to the US in 2009 pleaded guilty to trying to bomb malls for the Islamic State. Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan was indicted in January and the FBI was quick to assure the public that Al Hardan never had an “active or planned plot targeting a specific location in Houston or elsewhere.” But Homeland Security Special Agent Herman Wittliff testified just a few days later that Al Hardan had planned to bomb two Houston malls, including the popular Galleria mall.
Also this week Nelash Mohamed Das, a legal permanent resident who came to the US in 1995, was indicted on a charge of attempting to provide support to ISIS by plotting to kill a member of the U.S. military. He was baited by a a confidential FBI source whom he believed was a fellow ISIS sympathizer after expressing his support on social media for ISIS and the attacks in San Bernardino, Calif., and Paris.
Despite the almost daily capture of Muslims trying to kill American infidels, the American media continues to support the influx of Muslims to the country for “humanitarian reasons.”
