Bomb-Making Lab Discovered in West Bank Village

Israeli security forces arrested Palestinians from several villages who were found to have made explosives and bombs.

In the village of el- Far’a, northeast of Nablus, 200 pounds of bomb-making supplies were found during a joint operation between police, the Israel Defense Forces and the Border Police. The materiel was found in the home of a man who had already been arrested by IDF troops.

The army confiscated two pipe bombs and two Molotov cocktails from a home in Bayt Awa in the southern West Bank, and took in the owner for questioning.

Four other Palestinians were arrested in Bayt Rima, Bita and Sa’ir for taking part in popular terror and violent riots against civilians and security forces.

The latest arrests were part of a toughening stance against terrorists engineered by Israel since December, when IDF troops and Shin Bet agents arrested more than two dozen suspected Hamas operatives connected to an explosives laboratory, the majority of them Al-Quds University in Abu Dis students who were preparing to attack Israeli targets.
