Q. Can a man dress like a woman on Purim?
A. According to Rabbi Ovadia Yosef it is prohibited for a man to dress like a woman and a woman to dress like a man on Purim. It is also preferable that children refrain from this too.
(The prohibition is Biblical. A man's attire shall not be on a woman, nor may a man wear a woman's garment because whoever does these [things] is an abomination to the Lord, your God.Deuteronomy 22:5.)
With blessings,

(If it's obvious that it's for mirth and the man doesn't look like a woman (like in the picture) some opinions say it is permitted).
