Last night after Shabbat Arab media outlets reported explosions that took place on the outskirts of Quneitra on the Syrian part of the Golan Heights. The Sky Network reported this in Arabic along with other media outlets saying the same thing.
Arab commentators claimed the explosions were from an Israeli air force attack. They added that the planes circled for a while before the explosions were heard.
Assad through his media outlets on the other hand denies any such attack or explosions took place.
All this is in context of the Northern front heating up. Israel attacked Syrian ammunition deliveries to the Hezbollah and destroyed them in a Thursday morning attack near Damascus. On Thursday evening a drone was detected coming into Israeli air space from Syria and it was shot down with an Israeli Patriot missile.
